Because family often live far away, local support can be limited. Our extensive experience in helping many clients downsize over the years enables us to provide a steady, expert presence – managing the practical logistics of your move, while gently supporting you through the many decisions that come with it.

I offer a start-to-finish service designed to handle the heavy lifting – both physical and administrative – so that you can focus on settling in.

Moving Services We Offer

1. Assessment

Before a single box is packed, we look ahead, helping you to assess your new home.  We consider room and cupboard size, storage, and your specific health or mobility needs. This is vital when moving into a smaller space to ensure your new environment is comfortable, safe and functional.

2. Move Management & Decluttering

I provide the support and momentum to help you ‘lighten the load’ well before move day.

  • Deciding with Confidence: We’ll go through every room, cupboard and storage space in your current home to decide together what fits your new home and lifestyle. I’ll coordinate the sale or donation of surplus items, and the removal of waste.
  • Managing related services:  These include booking the removal company, deep cleaning, and even minor house repairs.
  • Documentation: From assisting with the closure or transfer of accounts to compiling detailed inventories for emigration, I handle the details that often feel overwhelming.

3. Moving Day & Settling In

  • Move-Day Management: I oversee the logistics, so you don’t have to.
  • Personal Care: I can personally transfer smaller, valuable or fragile items to your new home.
  • Unpacking & Styling: I don’t just unpack; I organise. I’ll set up your new kitchen, wardrobes, and living spaces so that you can feel ‘at home’ from the very first night. On move day, I am your dedicated advocate.

We are not a furniture removals company. Our role is to facilitate the moving process.
